Are you Ready for Some Football:

The Season Starts Tomorrow Night!!!

Varsity this year!

Loch Raven High School vs. Kenwood High at LRHS Stadium, 7 pm

Hope to see you out there! Adults $5. Students $3.

Last week they played Harford Tech in a scrimmage. Seems like everyone was a little tired and not pumped up but they still won, 16-14. I think they will be pumped for tomorrow night!

Peter had one good tackle, see the video. He had pulled a muscle earlier in the week and he re-injured it on that play. Didn't do much after that. We went to Towson Sports Medicine to have an evaluation. They confirmed it was a pulled muscle. He has been icing it, stretching it, and using some Advil. It is getting better and hopefully he will be close to 100% by Friday.

Peter is going use his football season to raise funds this year for The Menkes Foundation. If you would like to sponsor him per "Big Play", just email me, kalmd@comcast.net. Thanks for your support.

This is Peter's Cousin Ben Larrick. He is almost 3 years old. This is his first day of pre-school picture. Ben has Menkes but thanks to early diagnoses and experimental copper shots, Ben is a happy, healthy, cute as a button, normal almost 3 year old. Menkes only affects boys, and those not treated die before age 2. Visit the Menkes Foundation site to learn more.
Peter is raising money for them so they can make the medical community aware of this genetic disease so that boys can be identified, tested, and treated.
Last year Peter raised $1,600.00; $800 for Menkes and $800 for Ed Reed's Eye of the Hurricane Foundation. Since The Menkes Foundation is a small organization, Peter has decided to raise funds for them this year.
Peter's Tackle ... I hope we see a lot of that this year!

This was the Offensive Play of the Game! Starring Devon Jones, #12, Senior.
